About the Role
This is a founding Business Development Rep position at an AI-native legal tech company, where you will build the outbound sales engine from the ground up. You will own pipeline generation end-to-end and play a central role in shaping what go-to-market looks like at an early-stage company redefining how fast-moving businesses access legal services.
What You'll Do
- Run high-volume outbound prospecting across email, phone, and LinkedIn to build qualified pipeline.
- Qualify leads and find creative ways to consistently book meetings with decision-makers at target companies.
- Own the full sales motion from sourcing through closing qualified opportunities into revenue.
- Build tight feedback loops that continuously improve messaging, targeting, and outbound execution.
- Identify ways to move faster, raise quality standards, and scale pipeline generation over time.
What We're Looking For
- 1 to 2 years of sales experience at a high-growth startup, with a track record of hitting or exceeding quota.
- Proven ability to run high-volume outbound campaigns and convert cold prospects into qualified meetings.
- Experience prospecting and selling into startups, founders, or operations buyers.
- Strong written communicator whose cold emails and follow-ups consistently get responses.
- Ability to build and iterate on outbound messaging and targeting strategies based on performance data.
- Ownership mindset with full accountability for pipeline and revenue outcomes.
- Entrepreneurial, resilient, and resourceful, comfortable operating well outside your comfort zone.
- Willingness to work intensely in a high-bar, fast-paced startup environment.
- Bonus: experience in legal tech, contract management, or legal services, or a background building outbound functions from scratch.
