Sigma Defense is seeking a Software Engineer II to work under a Senior Software lead to develop new software for the Remotely Operated Tracking Radar #1 at the China Lake Range. This software products will enable the new ROTR1 hardware suite to function and support critical T&E and validation missions for the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Red Hat Linux with real-time extensions.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Computer Programs/Software Experience: C++, Real-time programming, Servo Software and data filtering, Eclipse and/or Qt development environment(s), Radar, optical sensor, and servo concepts and terminology.
- Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Software Engineering, or related field of study.
- Personnel Clearance Level: Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
- A clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.
- Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive): Design, develop, test, and deliver new software for ROTR1 radar system.
- Hourly Rate: $47.96 per hour.
