Senior Planner Production - Fresh Meats at Tyson Foods | LAYIQ

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 2+ years of industry experience preferred; general animal science knowledge, and/or Consumer Products/Logistics/ Case Ready Supply Chain Management is preferred.
Computer Skills: Requires standard computer skills, generating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets, and creating DB2 queries. Knowledge of Production Planning and/or Tyson's internal systems such as OP/PA are considered a plus.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills through various levels required. Ability to train other Team members in the work unit is critical for this position. informal presentations to groups on work-related topics.
Special Skills: Strong organization, strategic thinking, communication skills, and strong analytical skills are a must. Must work well in a fast-paced environment and be able to meet deadlines in a reasonable time frame with a positive/upbeat attitude; ability to collaborate with others and drive for results in a timely manner.
Supervisory: This position does not have direct reports.
Travel: 1-5 domestic trips per year
