Butcher/Packer Needed

National Star Services, a 28-year-old facility management company providing services nationwide, is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Protein Processing Specialist to join our team at a client facility in Chicago, IL 60608.

Important: This position requires working in a cold environment and performing physical, hands-on processing duties. Candidates must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Employment Type: Full-Time Temp-to-Hire

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Performing daily protein processing, which may include knife and saw work.

Following specific customer requirements for cuts, portions, and packaging.

Carefully picking, checking, and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Maintaining accurate and adequate inventory levels.

Paying close attention to detail to ensure products meet quality and customer specifications.

Operating processing equipment safely and properly.

Cleaning and maintaining processing equipment on a daily basis.

Following all workplace safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures.

Performing other warehouse and processing duties as assigned.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Overtime: Available

Pay Rate:

$20.00 per hour. (Biweekly Pay)

Requirements

• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is required to effectively communicate.
• Must be authorized to lawfully work in the US.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work.
• Must be willing to undergo a Background Check.
• Must be available to start working as soon as possible.
• Must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Desire to learn, grow, and become part of a thriving team.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously throughout the workday.
• Must be able to remain standing and active for extended periods of time.
