Position Summary:
This position will provide real-world experience in a distribution environment, specific to responsibilities within the Quality Lab. This position will learn various aspects of the quality function including inspections, blueprint reviews, trouble-shooting quality errors, and assisting with various reports and data entry.
This opportunity is specific to candidates who are pursuing either a two-year or a four-year degree in a technical field. The work schedule is flexible and is designed to complement class schedules as needed. This opportunity could lead to ongoing part-time employment during the school year for local candidates.

FLSA Hourly/Salary:
Hourly pay $16
Essential Functions:: Commit to FIELD’s Mission Statement, Core Values, and Fieldamentals.
Work with our Quality Technicians to assist with Pre-production Part Approval Process (PPAP) inspections.
Conduct lab testing and product testing on parts.
Conduct technical research and report writing.
Respond to emails and requests from the Field team.
Assist with trouble-shooting quality issues.
Assist with continuous improvement projects and activities.
Education, Skills and Experience Required:: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
In pursuit of either a two-year or four-year technical degree.
Polite and professional manner.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Well organized and detail oriented.
Possess a strong mechanical aptitude.
Committed to accuracy and dependability.
Willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
The ability to learn new tasks in a short period of time.
Experience with blueprints, calipers, micrometers, and gauges in general.
Experience with AutoCAD
