Our Opportunity
GPJ is hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to join our growing team.
This role is on-site, requiring you to report to our Las Vegas office location a minimum of 5 days per week.
Your Role
As a Purchasing Coordinator, you play a pivotal role in our procurement operation by supporting the Purchasing Agent. Responsibilities include reconciling purchase orders, executing purchase orders, and monitoring inventory levels. This role also requires maintaining relationships with our trusted suppliers and collaborating with our internal team members to ensure deadlines are met. Strong organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail are necessary for this position.
You generate and process purchase orders in alignment with material requisitions and production schedules. You will assist the Purchasing Agent, ensuring clear communication of delivery schedules and swift resolution of any order-related issues. Monitoring and maintaining optimal inventory levels is essential to support our production needs while minimizing excess stock. Your focus is to support the Agent and act as their backfill with a focus on reconciliation.
