Occupational Therapist – Community

Liquid Personnel are recruiting for its client for a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join the Community Occupational Therapy Team in Ceredigion.

The role involves managing complex adult and older adult caseloads, with a focus on specialist equipment, adaptations, manual handling and promoting independence.

What will your responsibilities be?

Manage a varied and complex community OT caseload.

Complete assessments and provide specialist OT interventions.

Assess for equipment and housing adaptations.

Complete manual handling risk assessments and develop handling plans.

Provide advice and support to service users, families and carers.

Supervise and delegate to OT Assistants and students.

Work with health, social care and other agencies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Occupational Therapy degree/diploma.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Post-graduate community OT experience.
• Experience managing complex caseloads.
• Strong experience with adaptations, equipment and manual handling.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with delegation and supervision.
• Full driving licence and ability to travel across the county.
• Ability to work in the county a minimum of 4 days per week.
• Enhanced DBS required.
