Are you passionate about security and building systems that protect one of the world's largest networks? Amazon Security is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join our mission-critical security infrastructure team. We enumerate Amazon's entire network attack surface—from retail systems to AWS infrastructure—through sophisticated passive data collection and active scanning, providing comprehensive visibility that enables security teams across Amazon and AWS to identify and remediate vulnerabilities before they become
threats.
In this role, you'll design and build scalable systems that catalog network assets, making this critical security data accessible through datalake, programmatic APIs, and real-time change events. You'll tackle complex problems in distributed systems, work with ambiguous requirements, and make thoughtful tradeoffs between feature development and operational excellence.
