We are seeking an experienced Commercial Estimator to develop accurate, competitive bids for commercial interior construction projects.
This role will manage the full estimating process from bid invitation through project handoff, with a primary focus on drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, commercial flooring, and related interior finishes. The ideal candidate has strong commercial interior construction estimating experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed estimates for commercial interior projects, including drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, and related finishes.
Review architectural drawings, specifications, contracts, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements.
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and calculate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Solicit, evaluate, and compare pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
Proficiency with estimating and takeoff software such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift, or similar platforms.
Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple bids, priorities, and deadlines.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
