Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant II supports safe, efficient hospital operations by assisting leaders in monitoring staffing across the hospital, identifying current and anticipated coverage needs, and coordinating staffing adjustments with nursing leaders, House Managers, and the hospital command center. The role maintains accurate staffing, scheduling, attendance, LeanTaaS, and timekeeping practices while providing timely communication, reporting, and administrative support to Nursing Administration and assigned departments.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Hospital Staffing Monitoring and Advance Planning
• Daily Staffing Coordination and Float Pool Deployment Support
• Staffing Systems and Real-Time Data Accuracy
• Attendance, Call-in Documentation, and Timecard Maintenance
• Command Center Coordination and Administrative Support
• Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Experience in Symplr/API MyTime preferred
