General Overview: Provides maintenance support to all departments and ensures that all machinery and equipment are in safe working order within the facility: 3-5 years of industrial experience, demonstrate strong mechanical trouble shooting capability, demonstrate knowledge of 1-phase and 3-phase electrical trouble shooting, can use a meter to troubleshoot AC and DC voltage systems. The candidate must demonstrate a good working knowledge of plumbing, pneumatics, hydraulics, and other skills necessary to perform the job.
Must be able to perform this tier level with minimal supervision.
Overall Responsibilities:

Must have hand tools, approved multimeter, and toolbox.
Performs daily checks to identify and address potential mechanical issues.
Helps other Maintenance Techs as directed by Group Leader or Maintenance Manager.
Performs established PM (Preventive Maintenance) procedures on machinery and equipment as directed.
Help establish maintenance and PM procedures to better maintain mechanical and electrical systems.
Performance maintenance and troubleshoots equipment as needed following proper LOTO procedures.
Repairs and rebuilds hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components.
Installs and connects electrical fixtures, molds, and equipment, ensuring proper plumbing and wiring for safe and efficient operation.
Evaluates equipment to determine necessary repairs or part replacements and collaborates with Group Leader or Maintenance Manager to ensure timely procurement of replacement parts.
Utilizes maintenance management system to track daily activities, close workorders, track time, etc.
Ensure proper care is taken for all maintenance equipment.
Can proficiently perform machine PM to increase machine reliability.
Meticulously documents preventative maintenance activities in maintenance management system (Adheres to established safety protocols and best practices, including service dates, replacement information, and keeping accurate records.
Participate in team meetings to discuss strategies on how best to maintain machinery & keep it working at optimal levels during peak season periods.
Notifies the supervisor of any faulty equipment or mechanical condition and enters it into the CMMS system.
Maintains good housekeeping in the maintenance shop and follows 5S system.
Always wears proper PPE and always works safe in all areas.
Must be willing to train level 1 maintenance techs to next level.
Other duties as assigned by your manager or the Group Lead.
Qualifications, Skills, Competencies:

Demonstrates strong mechanical and electrical expertise in equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Effectively assesses and prioritizes equipment issues to ensure timely resolution and minimize downtime.
Demonstrates strong communication skills, professionalism, and effective time management to meet organizational goals.
Adheres to established safety protocols and best practices.
Education/Experience: Requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance or a technical degree in a mechanical discipline combined with 3 plus years of industrial maintenance experience.
Focus on Electrical Technology a plus.
LOTO and Arc Flash training a plus.
Previous Forklift and Fall Protection training required.
