Job Details:
This position is responsible for procuring 700+ million pounds of Pork Ham Muscles, Bellies, Sausage Materials, Butts, Sirloins, Cushions and Sandwich inputs annually. This role is responsible for achieving organizational financial goals including cost savings and market advantage targets set annually.
This position works closely with various segments of the company including: Prepared Plants, Suppliers, Suppliers, Supply Chain, Production Scheduling, Traffic, LCF, and Tyson Claims; provides marketing and commodity information to Tyson Prepared Business Units. Involved with R&D to meet all Pork quality requirements for prepared plants and are responsible for analyzing market factors and historical data to make correct purchasing decisions.
