Position Purpose:
The Finance Project Leader leads strategic projects that support merchandising objectives and business growth. This role is responsible for evaluating financial performance, developing forecasts, identifying opportunities and risks, and translating complex data into actionable insights for executive leadership. By partnering across the organization, the Finance Project Leader helps drive sound financial decisions and successful execution of key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- 40% PROJECT CONTROL - Develops an effective plan for controlling project scope, schedule and cost, and monitors project execution to ensure that the plan is being followed. Creates and effectively coordinates documentation to explain changes or potential changes to the baseline and ensures the approved changes are implemented.
