3 South Surgical Unit is a dynamic, fast-paced unit that provides comprehensive care for adult patients with complex medical, cardiac, vascular, and post-operative needs. Our team specializes in caring for patients with acute cardiac conditions, complex medication management, and cardiovascular procedure recovery. Staff develop advanced clinical skills through the care of a diverse patient population requiring cardiac telemetry monitoring.
Team members utilize a multidisciplinary approach to deliver high quality; patient-centered care focused on stabilization, treatment, recovery, and education.
The Registered Nurse provides compassionate, evidence-based nursing care through assessment, treatment, care coordination, patient and family education, and individualized care planning while supporting admissions, transfers, and discharges.
