Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support commercial construction, renovation, and tenant improvement projects from preconstruction through final closeout.

This role works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and clients to coordinate project activities, maintain documentation, track schedules and costs, and ensure projects stay on schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional looking to expand their project management experience and progress into a Project Manager role.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial construction projects through preconstruction, procurement, construction, and closeout.
• Manage and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, correspondence, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors on scopes, schedules, materials, and outstanding requirements.
• Review construction drawings and specifications to identify conflicts, missing information, and potential project issues.
• Assist with project scheduling and monitor progress against key milestones.
