Charger Logistics is seeking an experienced and versatile Driver Trainer to support our Safety & Compliance Department. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong commercial driving background, safety and compliance experience, and the ability to take on a variety of operational and administrative responsibilities as business needs evolve.
The successful candidate will be responsible for training, mentoring, onboarding, and supporting drivers while assisting with safety, compliance, recruitment, and other departmental initiatives.
**CDL License required**
Responsibilities
- Conduct new driver orientation and onboarding programs.
- Train and coach drivers on company policies, DOT/FMCSA regulations, HOS, ELD usage, and safe driving practices.
- Perform driver evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
- Support the Safety & Compliance team with maintaining Driver Qualification Files (DQFs) and training records.
