Program Sr. Manager at General Dynamics Information Technology | LAYIQ

Own end‑to‑end program delivery across technical and business domains, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, cost, and quality commitments
Ensure the program team meets all contractual obligations and service‑level agreements; proactively identify and resolve delivery risks.
Oversee and control personnel assignments, including timely on‑ and offboarding of resources and workforce planning.
Serve as the primary communications point with ASPS technical personnel and as the liaison to clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems.
Lead and supervise technical and administrative staff, including subordinate supervisors; perform key personnel actions such as hiring and performance evaluations.
Manage all tasks in assigned program areas — technical execution, financial stewardship, and business development — for annual revenues of $10M and above.
Build and manage a high‑performing team that delivers quality outcomes, meets financial targets, and deepens client relationships.
Assure the quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participation in reviews, audits, and site visits.
Oversee transition activities for the life of the contract; coordinate with leads to manage transitions smoothly.
Engage and leverage the company’s services in cloud, infrastructure, applications development, and related capabilities to support operations and transition work as needed.
Perform business development activities across the lifecycle, including preparation and review of technical and cost proposals.
Execute financial management: analysis, budget and cost quote preparation, cost control, reconciliation, and profit enhancement.
Coordinate and monitor subcontractor activities; administer subcontractor deliverables and finances.
Develop, review, and approve plans, schedules, consulting agreements, and other program documentation.
Prepare and deliver reports and technical reviews for senior management upon request.
Ensure compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.
Participate in special projects as required.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your program management expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Program Sr Manager must have:
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
15+ years managing large, multi‑disciplinary teams in complex environments.
Demonstrated experience supervising technical and administrative staff, including subordinate supervisors, with responsibility for hiring and performance evaluations.
Proven success directing program activities to achieve client and organizational objectives; effective in coordinating with clients to align tasks and resolve issues.
Onsite travel to client locations in Montgomery, AL and Huntsville, AL 30%+
