Assistant Director of Program Evaluation

Harlem Children’s Zone (HCZ) — a world-renowned education and poverty-fighting organization based in New York — seeks an enthusiastic, dedicated, and mission-aligned Assistant Director of Program Evaluation with our Research & Evaluation Department.

The Assistant Director will bring a passion for the mission of Harlem Children’s Zone: to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty through comprehensive, on-the-ground programming that creates opportunities for children and families to thrive in school, work, and life.

The Assistant Director will join our Research & Evaluation team that supports the implementation and maintenance of evaluation systems that promote efficient program information collection and data dissemination within the organization and with our external partners. Working closely with the Director and the Managing Director of Research and Evaluation, the Assistant Director of Program Evaluation is a key member of the department’s management team.

The AD will assist senior Research & Evaluation staff in establishing systems, schedules, and templates for tracking the progress of programs across the organization in relation to key indicators. Critically, the AD ensures that existing program data is organized and presented in a format that helps program leads, senior HCZ staff, and external funders understand their impact.
