Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s
Team Manager to join its client’s
Safeguarding team, based in Barnsley.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader with a proven background in safeguarding and child protection services. The successful candidate will oversee a team of 7 Social Workers, providing effective management, supervision, and support to ensure high-quality outcomes for children and families.
What will your responsibilities be?
Manage and lead a Safeguarding Team of 7 Social Workers.
Provide regular supervision, guidance, and performance management.
Oversee cases involving:
- Children in Need (CIN)
- Child Protection (CP)
- Private Law Proceedings
- Public Law Proceedings
Ensure assessments, plans, and interventions are completed to a high standard and within statutory timescales.
Support social workers with complex case decision-making and risk management.
Promote effective multi-agency working to safeguard children and improve outcomes.
Drive service improvement and maintain compliance with statutory requirements and local procedures.
