Who you are

Metropolis is seeking a Head of Growth, Hospitality to serve as a critical commercial leadership position responsible for developing and executing the growth strategy for the hospitality segment. This leader will shape the long-term vision and roadmap for profitable growth in Metropolis’s hospitality sector, bringing together data-driven insights, commercial strategy, and ecosystem partnerships while owning the segment growth number.

You will drive commercial expansion, scale innovative parking, security, and recognition technology, expand vertical marketing narratives, and forge key enterprise partnerships with major hospitality brands while collaborating cross-functionally across product, sales, marketing, and operations to establish market leadership.

What you'll do

• Lead strategy and execution to grow our hospitality vertical and location base across all regions by partnering with sales and operations teams to close business
• Open and win deals in key national accounts within the hospitality vertical while co-selling alongside regional sellers on high-priority accounts
• Ensure vertically-oriented value proposition is strong and establish vertical-standard commercial structures and deal terms
• Scale hospitality B2B marketing initiatives, trade-press coverage, and vertical conference presence across major conventions and associations to ensure Metropolis becomes a recognizable brand
• Build strategic partnerships and collaborations with key consultants, advisors, channel partners, and enterprise influencing bodies across major hospitality brands
• Collaborate cross-functionally across product, marketing, sales, and operations to scale core offerings and develop the roadmap for additional vertical products
• Build a strong partnership with product leaders to translate customer input into product-market fit and drive actual impact from our products
• Co-lead the unified product and service roadmap, defining wayfinding solutions, validation strategies, and biometric integrations
• Commercialize and scale the Metropolis Recognition Platform throughout the hospitality industry
• Partner with the data team to establish performance dashboards showcasing value creation for hoteliers, and drive thought leadership in industry forums to fuel top-of-funnel pipeline

What we're looking for

• 15+ years in the hospitality industry segment with proven commercial growth leadership
• Strong background in strategy, business development, partnerships, P&L management, and a track record of winning key national accounts
• Extensive contacts, respected relationships, and an established network of vertical-specific partners across the industry
• Skilled in financial modeling, structuring vertical-standard commercial deal terms, data-driven decision-making, and market analysis
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams, partner closely with product leaders to align customer input to product-market fit, and drive organizational alignment
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Experience leveraging AI platforms and data-driven tools to accelerate commercial growth, optimize pipeline performance, and scale vertical sales strategies
• While not required, these are a plus: MBA degree or equivalent
• 4 Days in Office: Metropolis values in-person collaboration to drive innovation, strengthen culture, and enhance the Member experience. Our corporate team members hold to our office-first model, which requires employees to be on-site at least four days a week, fostering organic interactions that spark creativity and connection
• When you join Metropolis, you'll join a team of world-class product leaders and engineers, building an ecosystem of technologies at the intersection of parking, mobility, and real estate. Our goal is to build an inclusive culture where everyone has a voice and the best idea wins. You will play a key role in building and maintaining this culture as our organization grows. The anticipated base salary for this position is $200,000.00 USD to $230,000.00 USD annually. The actual base salary offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment. Base salary is one component of Metropolis' total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans, and more.
