Develop & Define Product Positioning and Messaging
Research, develop, and define differentiated positioning and messaging for Zūm’s individual products—translating capabilities into buyer-facing narratives that are clear, credible, and compelling.
Translate product capabilities into language that resonates with each persona, from district transportation directors to operations leaders to procurement teams. You make technical features feel like obvious answers to real problems.
Build and maintain messaging frameworks for individual products that serve as the source of truth for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
Conduct win/loss analysis and ongoing buyer research to pressure-test messaging and surface the insights that sharpen how we go to market.
Lead Go-to-Market Launches
Own go-to-market planning and execution for new product releases and feature launches, from messaging development and sales enablement to campaign briefs and launch communications.
Coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, CS, and Demand Gen to ensure launches land with clarity and impact, internally and externally.
Define launch tiers, build timelines, and keep stakeholders on track, so nothing ships without a plan and nothing important goes unannounced.
Write launch content: release notes, blog posts, customer emails, sales alerts, and website copy updates.
Enable the Sales Team
Build and maintain a sales enablement library that sellers actually use: battlecards, objection handling guides, pitch decks, one-pagers, and ROI frameworks tailored to real buyer conversations.
Partner with Sales leadership to understand where deals stall, and develop targeted assets that close the gap.
Run enablement sessions that are sharp and practical
Track what’s working and iterate based on direct feedback from the field.
Develop Content & Thought Leadership
Partner with content and demand gen to brief, shape, and review marketing content, ensuring everything published reflects accurate, on-message product positioning.
Contribute to high-value content including solution briefs, white papers, case study narratives, and website copy that advances how we tell our product story.
Help establish Zūm’s voice in the market through thought leadership that earns attention and builds credibility with the buyers we care about most.
Contribute to Competitive Intelligence
Monitor the competitive landscape continuously—tracking positioning shifts, new entrants, and market developments that affect how we sell and how we win.
Produce crisp, actionable competitive briefs and battlecards that give Sales the confidence to navigate difficult conversations.
Bring competitive insights into product and marketing conversations, ensuring Zūm stays ahead of the narrative.
