Position Summary
We are hiring an experienced

Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to service and repair heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, cranes, and other motorized equipment. This role is hands-on and may require emergency response, extended hours, and travel within and outside the state.

What You’ll Do: Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, cranes, and other motorized equipment.

Meet with the Shop Foreman for daily assignments and work priorities.

Keep repairs moving efficiently by maintaining access to required parts, tools, and equipment.

Complete work orders accurately and on time, including mileage, operating hours, and repair information.

Communicate emergency repair needs to the Shop Foreman for proper prioritization.

Work with the team to complete repairs and minimize equipment downtime.

Keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized.

Follow all applicable safety rules and procedures.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 5+ years of maintenance experience

working with heavy equipment and/or trailers/cranes.
At least
5 years of experience in two additional technical areas
, such as hydraulics, electronics, or small engines.
High school diploma/GED plus diesel mechanic trade-school training or equivalent education.
Two years of technical/vocational school training and five years of hands-on repair experience.
Professional certifications related to heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
Strong sense of urgency and ability to deliver results.
