Structural Steel Quality Inspector – 1st Shift

Up to $32/hour, depending on experience
Position Summary
Seeking a Quality Inspector with hands-on structural steel fabrication experience to verify materials, welding, coatings, and finished components meet project specifications and applicable industry standards.
This is primarily a shop-floor position in an active manufacturing environment with limited office work. The facility is non-climate-controlled, so candidates should be comfortable working in varying temperatures and being on their feet throughout the day.
Responsibilities: Perform inspections of structural steel components throughout the fabrication process.
Check welding, materials, and finished work against drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
Verify compliance with AWS D1.1, AWS D1.5, AISC
, and other applicable standards.
Inspect incoming materials, parts, and welding consumables.
