Position Overview

The Sr. Director, Clinical Research Operations is responsible for building and leading the full operating model for how N-Power executes clinical research at our network practices — from the onsite Clinical Research Staff (CRS) who manage prescreening, consenting, and protocol-driven assessment coordination in partnership with treating physicians, to the regulatory and clinical trial operations work ensure programs are run in a compliant manner following applicable rules and regulations.

This is a newly created, senior leadership role accountable for the staffing model, capacity planning, resource allocation, training infrastructure, engagement strategy, and performance metrics across the full function, spanning both the distributed CRS field team and the Clinical Operations team responsible for regulatory execution.

• Role Objectives and Responsibilities
• Staffing Model, Capacity Planning & Performance Management
• Build a repeatable and scalable staffing model tied to health system profile, clinical programs, enrollment targets, and patient volume across all sites
• Define productivity and success metrics for the CRS team (e.g., prescreening throughput, consent conversion) tied to business and pharma customer delivery targets
• Build dashboards and reporting cadences that give leadership visibility into team and site performance
• Use performance data to identify skill gaps and direct training investment where it matters most
• Leadership & Execution
• Build the playbooks, SOPs, and management cadence needed to run a consistent, high-quality distributed field team

Directly manage the Clinical Operations team, ensuring regulatory work such as study-startup,  TMF management, documentation, site/IRB coordination, and site monitoring is a tightly integrated part of the same function

• Build scalable training and development infrastructure for a distributed field and regulatory operations workforce
• Train onsite team to represent N-Power’s mission and value proposition to practices
• Serve as an escalation point for site-level relationship risks and support rollout of new initiatives or workflow changes across the network
• Partner closely with Network Operations leadership and other cross-functional teams to align CRS and Clinical Operations priorities with broader network strategy

• Education, Experience, Behavioral Competencies, & Skills
• 9+ years of experience in clinical research operations, with direct, hands-on oncology clinical trial experience
• Proven success managing a distributed, multi-site workforce at scale

Strong experience in oncology research and practice workflows, including academic/community research workflows, practice business administration.

• Demonstrated ability to build repeatable playbooks, SOPs, and processes as teams and programs grow
• Metrics-driven: experience building staffing models, capacity plans, and KPI/reporting frameworks from scratch
• Experience designing training and development infrastructure for a distributed clinical workforce
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, clinical teams, and technical experts alike
• Collaborative, hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic environments; generous, curious, and humble

Preferred

• Familiarity with CTMS, EDC, or similar clinical trial systems as they relate to site-level workflow
• Travel Requirements
• Travel expected as needed to support regional teams. Up to 25%
• Pay Information

The expected salary range for this position is $215K-270K. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. N-Power Medicine (NPM) offers equity at hire as well as a discretionary annual bonus which may be available based on Company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits.
