Role Overview

Encoura is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent across our organization. We believe recruiting is a partnership between the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers, with both equally invested in identifying and retaining top talent. We're looking for an experienced recruiter who excels at sourcing and building relationships with candidates, consulting with hiring leaders, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

The ideal candidate combines strong recruiting instincts with a data-informed approach to hiring and enjoys supporting a variety of technology and business functions.

A Day in the Life

• Manage end-to-end recruiting for technology and business roles, including intake meetings, job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer facilitation
• Partner closely with hiring managers to define talent needs, align on hiring strategies, and provide guidance throughout the recruiting and selection process
• Deliver an exceptional, personalized candidate experience that reflects Encoura's values and fosters meaningful candidate relationships
• Collaborate with Total Rewards, Talent Operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure competitive and equitable offers, efficient hiring processes, and a smooth transition from candidate to employee
• Leverage our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Greenhouse, to support the full recruitment lifecycle, including candidate management, interview coordination, workflow administration, and recruiting analytics
• Analyze recruiting data and trends to identify opportunities, address hiring challenges, and implement strategies that improve recruiting effectiveness and hiring outcomes
• Leverage sourcing platforms, networking strategies, and market research to proactively identify and engage high-quality candidates
• Utilize AI-enabled recruiting tools and sourcing technologies to enhance efficiency, build talent pipelines, and identify qualified candidates while maintaining a human-centered hiring experience
• Role Progression
• Within 1 month, you’ll: Build relationships with hiring managers, become proficient in Greenhouse, and begin managing recruiting activities and candidate pipelines.
• Within 3 months, you’ll: Independently manage requisitions, build talent pipelines, and contribute to recruiting goals across assigned functions.
• Within 6 months, you’ll: Be viewed as a reliable recruiting partner, consistently delivering strong candidate experiences and contributing to hiring outcomes through effective sourcing, screening, and process management.

About You

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including recruitment for technology and business functions
• Working knowledge of employment laws, recruiting compliance requirements, and hiring best practices
• Ability to analyze recruiting data and identify opportunities to improve hiring outcomes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills that reflect a high attention to detail
• Strong consultative skills with a demonstrated ability to provide business leaders of all levels with insights that improve hiring outcomes
• Passion for delivering an exceptional candidate experience and building meaningful relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process
• Experience utilizing sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other talent search tools
• Hands-on experience with Greenhouse or a comparable Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Experience supporting high-volume recruiting environments preferred, with the flexibility to contribute across a variety of hiring functions and business areas
• Experience in Higher Education preferred

The annual base salary range for this exempt position is $65,000–$80,000 and reflects the midpoint through maximum of the established range for this role.

Encoura establishes compensation using national market data, internal equity considerations, and organizational budget factors to ensure fairness and consistency across the organization. Certain roles may also be eligible for variable compensation in addition to base salary.
