The Medical Director provides scientific and medical leadership across pharmaceutical and healthcare training and marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring the clinical accuracy, scientific rigor, and strategic relevance of medical content while serving as a trusted medical partner to both internal teams and clients.
The Medical Director works closely with medical writers, instructional designers, creative teams, project managers, and other cross-functional team members to translate complex scientific information into clear, engaging, and impactful training and marketing content.
The role also helps guide the thoughtful use of artificial intelligence in content development, leveraging AI to improve efficiency and innovation while promoting responsible use, strong medical writing, critical thinking, and appropriate scientific oversight throughout the content development process.
In addition to content and scientific leadership, the Medical Director participates in client meetings, workshops, and strategic discussions; mentors and develops members of the medical content team; and contributes to business development activities, including proposals, pitches, capability presentations, and the development of innovative solutions for current and prospective clients.
