Prelim is looking for a high-potential Associate Account Executive to join our team. As we continue our 2x year-over-year growth, you'll work directly with banking executives to transform how they serve their customers, building relationships and guiding them through complex buying processes.
In this quota-carrying role, you’ll focus on converting and expanding inbound demand by engaging with qualified leads. You’ll leverage strong communication skills and a dedication for banking innovation while collaborating closely with our sales, implementation, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the full sales cycle from lead through close
- Engage and qualify incoming leads
- Build and nurture relationships with banking executives
- Articulate Prelim's value proposition across technical and business stakeholders
- Collaborate with the implementations team to help identify and scope deployments to customers
- Achieve annual booking targets and contribute to predictable revenue growth
- Develop and use sales material including presentation slides, etc during the full sales process
- Represent Prelim at conferences and events, fostering relationships and identifying new business opportunities
Qualifications:
- Clear, persuasive communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply
- Proven ability to quickly learn new concepts, industries, and skills
- Genuine interest in understanding how financial institutions operate and the challenges they face
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root challenges and collaborate on solutions
- Comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast-growing company
- Understanding of how technology drives business outcomes for customers
- Enthusiasm for working across teams to ensure customer success
Compensation
Salary range:
$205,000 - $235,000
This role is eligible to participate in Prelim's commission plan and it is common for employees in this role to receive total on-target earnings of $205,000 - $235,000. The estimated base salary for this role is $105,000 - $125,000.
