We're looking for a Sr. Director, Global Brand and Creative to set Pattern's global brand strategy and lead the in-house creative team bringing it to life across every market we operate in, including China and EMEA. You'll blend high-level strategy with the CMO and executive team, hands-on creative review, and social oversight — building the full-service creative organization (video, animation, and design) that keeps Pattern's voice consistent everywhere, from keynote stages to paid social.
This is a full-time, founding leadership role focused on driving efficient growth, not just visibility, based onsite in Lehi, UT.
What is a day in the life of a Sr. Director, Global Brand and Creative?: Set the global brand strategy for Pattern and lead the creative team bringing it to life across every market, including China and EMEA
Split time between high-level strategy work with the CMO and executive team and hands-on creative review
Build and maintain the systems and people that keep Pattern's voice consistent everywhere it shows up — keynote stages, client dinners, paid social, and direct mail
Ensure brand and creative work is measured against efficient growth and real demand generation, not just visibility or impressions
Own creative budgets, agency and freelance vendor economics, and headcount planning for the team
Attract, hire, retain, and coach world-class creative talent, including the team based in Pune, India
What will I need to thrive in this role?: A proven track record spanning both agency-side creative leadership and in-house B2B brand and creative leadership, including direct experience at a publicly traded company and comfort with the visibility and rigor of operating in the public markets
Direct experience managing brand or creative work across multiple international markets, including familiarity with China's distinct digital and social ecosystem and EMEA market dynamics
Exceptional writing and storytelling ability, with genuine range — equally comfortable shaping a big brand idea and sharpening the copy on the page
A strong problem-solver, able to translate ambiguous or fast-changing business needs, including those of a senior executive team, into effective creative solutions
Experience building or running a full-service, in-house creative team (video, animation, and design), supported by project management and offshore creative talent
A demonstrated ability to attract, hire, retain, and coach world-class creative talent
Fluency running brand strategy and fast-moving social content simultaneously, without letting either slip
Ownership-level comfort with creative budgets, agency and freelance vendor economics, and headcount planning
A performance-minded approach to brand and creative — comfortable being measured on efficient growth and demand generation, not just creative output
Bachelor's degree required
Willingness to work onsite in Lehi, UT and travel internationally as needed

E-commerce or marketplace industry background (Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, etc.)
