Corp Temp Hourly: Legal Coordinator

Responsibilities Duration: 3 Months Work Location: Arsenal (San Antonio) M-F 8am-5pm Key Responsibilities Privacy Incident Response (PHI Disclosures, Complaints, Inquiries, Requests) Review and process incoming Protected Health Information (PHI) disclosure submissions. Conduct an initial assessment to ensure submissions are complete and addressed within established timelines. Follow up with requestors to obtain missing or clarifying information as needed.

Handle intake of privacy complaints and inquiries through accurate data entry and case documentation. Receive, document, and process HIPAA rights requests. Ensure requests are accurately entered into tracking systems and assigned for review. Support the preparation of response correspondence and mitigation communications. Route cases to Privacy Manager for review and next steps. Privacy Customer Inquiries Monitor and respond to email and phone inquiries regarding privacy and consumer rights.

Respond to or route requests to the appropriate team members to ensure timely resolution. Office Mail Administration Coordinate daily pickup and delivery of office mail to ensure timely handling of correspondence and requests. Check Deposit Processing Process Privacy Office check payments and maintain accurate deposit records. Calculate weekly deposit totals and coordinate delivery to the Deposit Desk. Temporary HIPAA Training Administration Review Temporary HIPAA Training Agreement submissions for completeness and accuracy.

Verify eligibility and validate temporary assignment requirements. Communicate approvals, denials, or alternative training requirements to submitters. Lost/Stolen Device Submissions Review and assess reported lost or stolen device incidents. Verify the accuracy of incident details and evaluate applicable security safeguards. Partner with device owners and Digital Security teams to gather information and validate protections in place. Escalate concerns and support incident documentation as needed.
