We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Manager with strong Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience to lead key accounting and financial operations. This role blends technical accounting expertise with forward-looking financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep experience in cost accounting and operational finance and the ability to effectively communicate in both Korean and English.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Reporting
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Manage general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and journal entries
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors
Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting procedures
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
Analyze financial performance, including variance analysis (budget vs. actuals) and key cost drivers
Develop and maintain financial models to support operational and strategic initiatives
Partner with operations and plant leadership to drive cost efficiencies and profitability
Prepare executive-level reporting packages, dashboards, and KPI analysis
Manufacturing & Cost Accounting
Oversee cost accounting functions including standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis
Analyze production costs, labor efficiency, material usage, and overhead allocation
Monitor inventory controls, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes
Partner with procurement and operations teams to manage raw material costs and margins
Support continuous improvement initiatives with data-driven financial insights
Leadership & Process Improvement
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a high-performance team environment
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
Support ERP system enhancements and financial reporting tools optimization
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and senior leadership
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 7+ years of progressive accounting experience within a manufacturing environment (required)
Demonstrated experience in cost accounting and operational finance
Strong FP&A experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
Experience with QuickBooks (preferred)
Bilingual in Korean and English (required)
