About the role

Kimchi is Cast AI’s newest product: an agentic platform for running AI workloads. We are building in a greenfield space where the technology, customer expectations, and the competitive landscape shift constantly. The problem space is broad and ambiguous by design. If you are at your best when the playbook is still being written, you will thrive here.

This is not a role for maintaining a mature product line. It’s a hands-on, zero-to-one PMM job inside a startup-like team with the backing of a unicorn. You must be curious. You’ll speak directly with early customers, run messaging and channel experiments, and build Kimchi’s ICP and positioning from the ground up. Then you’ll turn that evidence into the business’s first go-to-market playbook.

You’ll report to the Director of Product Marketing and work alongside Product, Engineering, and company leadership, with support from Content, Growth, Design, and Sales Enablement as the work scales. As a senior hire, you have the autonomy to identify quick wins independently and the judgment to balance short-term results with a longer-term roadmap.

What success looks like in 90 days

You understand Kimchi’s product, the problems it solves, and its priority audiences.

You scope the highest-priority PMM problems instead of trying to solve everything at once.

You run small experiments that produce trackable wins, including ICP hypotheses you validate or invalidate.

You take senior ownership: you work independently, bring clear recommendations and trade-offs, and balance short-term execution with a longer-term roadmap.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of product marketing experience with technical audiences, preferably developer tools or AI tooling.
• Strong technical fluency. You can grasp nuances without an engineer walking you through every detail.
• Hands-on, sprint-based working style with an experimental mindset.
• Real experience building an ICP and messaging architecture from scratch for a product whose buying motion was not yet validated.
• A track record of running customer interviews and extracting patterns that refine positioning.
• Experience designing GTM experiments and changing direction based on what the data shows.
• Data literacy: you can define success criteria and read funnel or adoption data.
• Win/loss research and competitive deal support experience.
• Sound commercial judgment on pricing, packaging, and willingness to pay, even when Product owns the final call.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

You have thrived in an early-stage or ambiguous product environment.

You can point to a PMM outcome that AI meaningfully improved, whether in speed, quality, reuse, or measurement.

Excellent writing, backed by work samples such as positioning docs, launch content, and sales narratives.

Responsibilities:

• Run deep, direct customer research to define and validate Kimchi’s ICP.
• Own positioning and messaging, and keep it consistent as new features ship.
• Own the commercial hypothesis, audience, message, positioning, and experiment design for GTM tests across trial flow, content, and channels. Growth, Product, and Demand Gen will help execute the experiments and measure results.
• Translate Kimchi’s technical differentiation into a value story that technical buyers recognize as true.
• Manage feature launches end to end, from early positioning through GA.
• Build the first version of sales enablement assets, battlecards, proof points, and demo narrative.
• Maintain the feedback loop from customer and market signal back into roadmap input.
• Track the competitive landscape and share what is changing with Product and leadership.
• Partner directly with Engineering to keep messaging accurate as the product evolves quickly.
• Build and maintain AI-assisted workflows that make this function faster, more consistent, or easier to measure.
