The Financial Analyst supports the CFO through financial reporting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, inventory metrics, margin analysis, and operational reporting. This role maintains financial models, validates data, analyzes business results, and prepares recurring reports and scorecards. The Financial Analyst works with Accounting, the Director of GOVX Fulfillment Center, Procurement, Merchandising, Marketing, Member Services, and other departments to provide accurate and timely financial information.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Forecasting
Support weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
Support maintenance of rolling T-12 actual and F-12 forecast models and supporting schedules
Support forecast updates, variance analyses, KPI dashboards, and scorecards.
Experience with NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, Power BI, or comparable systems.
Working Conditions
Full-time, on-site position in San Diego, California.
This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable wage and hour requirements.
All hours worked must be accurately recorded in accordance with company timekeeping requirements.
Additional hours may occasionally be required during forecasting, month-end close, quarterly reporting, year-end reporting, and Board reporting cycles.
Physical and Mental Demands
Primarily sedentary office work involving extended computer use.
Requires analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
May require occasional visits to fulfillment or operational areas in accordance with applicable safety requirements.
