Entry- Level Associate Attorney

Kubicki Draper is seeking an Entry-Level Associate Attorney to join its insurance defense team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly licensed attorney or early-career attorney looking to develop strong litigation skills while working closely with an experienced shareholder handling a diverse caseload that includes general negligence, premises liability, products liability, and first-party property claims.

Requirements

• Entry-level attorneys and recent law school graduates who are members of the Florida Bar are encouraged to apply
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Active member of the Florida Bar and in good standing
• Your Day-to-Day
• Assist with automobile liability, premises liability, products liability, and first-party property matters
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy
• Review medical records, claim files, discovery, and other case materials
• Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other members of the legal team
• Work closely with an experienced shareholder and receive ongoing mentorship and litigation training
