What the job looks like:

You’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary, agile application development team building and maintaining a full-stack Java application deployed on JBoss in AWS.

Collaborating with your team to design, code, test, debug, deploy and document software in an agile environment. Collaboration will mean pair programming, ensemble programming (“Mobbing”), or swarming with teammates for some of the day.

Developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of the application, from UI to APIs to data layer.

Building and maintaining Java applications and services, including deployment and configuration on JBoss/WildFly application servers.

Working within an AWS environment to deploy, configure, and support application infrastructure.

Working with other Software Engineers, DevOps Engineers, UX Researchers and Designers, and Product Managers to strive to build and maintain enterprise systems.

Tackle a wide variety of technical problems across the stack, from UI to infrastructure.

You have:

• A bachelor's degree or commensurate experience
• 5+ years development experience in enterprise environments
• Passion for learning new technologies and the ability to do so quickly
• Ability to write high-quality code efficiently

• At least five years of experience working with Java and building full-stack applications (both front-end and back-end)
• Experience deploying and configuring applications on JBoss application servers
• Hands-on experience working within AWS EC2, deploying and supporting applications in a cloud environment
• Experience with Jakarta Server Pages (formerly JavaServer Pages or JSPs) for making frontend websites.
• Familiarity with SQL databases
• Experience with SOAP APIs

The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $150,000.
