We're hiring a VP of Marketing for Pearl, which finds exceptional talent from around the world, trains them to be AI-native, and places them into operational roles at startups as managed contractors: from client facing roles to software engineers to executive assistants.
We're 3x founders who've bootstrapped our company to a couple million in ARR and are adding six to seven figures in net new annualized revenue each month. Our clients span venture-backed tech and healthcare, including fast-growing startups and US-based businesses that have raised over $3B in funding from Sequoia, a16z, Founders Fund, Y Combinator, and other top VC firms.
Today we're roughly 60 people managing a few hundred talents, growing fast and into new verticals. We started Pearl because we believe that even though opportunity isn't created equal in the world, ambitious talent is. Our goal is to scale Pearl to $100M in ARR bootstrapped by placing 2777 operators into top startups in the next 3 years.
You'll build Pearl into a brand that founders & leaders want to work with, exceptional talent want to join, and people genuinely want to be part of.
We believe some of the world's most exceptional talent is overlooked simply because of where they were born. Your job is to change that perception through compelling stories that showcase the people behind Pearl and the impact they have on the companies they support.
Imagine telling the story of a startup founder who just launched a product generating millions in revenue, then revealing the exceptional operators in the Philippines who helped make it happen. Or following a talented professional whose career at Pearl has allowed them to buy their parents a home or put their siblings through school.
You'll also build the brands of Pearl's founder communities, including NY Deep Tech, Operating Room, and Health Command. Our events and communities are a primary way we build relationships and acquire clients. We want founders and operators to see what's happening and think, "I want to be part of that."
This is a hands-on creative leadership role. You'll personally develop concepts, interview founders and talent, build storyboards, and write scripts while assembling and leading a team of specialists who bring those ideas to life as the main owner of marketing across Pearl/
You'll work directly with Pearl's founders to build a recognizable brand that attracts exceptional talent, strengthens our communities, and generates meaningful business opportunities.

2. Events, Communities, and Audience Growth
Own the marketing strategy for Pearl's communities, including NY Deep Tech, Operating Room, and Health Command.
Build recognizable community brands that attract ambitious founders, executives, operators, and prospective clients.

Connect community growth and event participation to qualified relationships, referrals, sponsorships, and new client opportunities.
3. Marketing Leadership and Creative Execution
Build and lead the marketing team and external network required to execute Pearl's brand, content, and community strategy.
Identify, recruit, and manage exceptional specialists across video production, editing, copywriting, ghostwriting, graphic design, paid advertising, SEO, and GEO.
Bring an existing network of talented freelancers, creators, and agencies that you can tap into to execute quickly and produce high-quality work.
Personally own creative direction, storytelling, storyboarding, and scriptwriting while delegating production and specialist execution.
Establish clear creative briefs, production workflows, quality standards, and accountability across internal and external contributors.
Develop a repeatable content production and distribution process that doesn't rely on the founders to drive every initiative.
Manage marketing resources and external partners to ensure spending supports Pearl's brand-building and commercial objectives.
4. Marketing Performance and Revenue Impact
Establish clear marketing KPIs across three areas: reach and virality, engagement and brand loyalty, and prospecting and conversion.
Track content reach alongside engagement rates to understand which stories resonate and generate meaningful organic distribution.
Measure community growth, participation, retention, and the quality of founders, executives, and prospective clients joining our communities.
Develop strategies to amplify successful content through Pearl's founders, employees, clients, talent, and community members.
Partner with Sales to connect marketing activity, community engagement, and event participation to qualified prospects and new client acquisition.
Oversee paid advertising, SEO, GEO, and other distribution channels, working with specialists to support Pearl's broader brand and growth strategy.
Continuously test creative approaches, content formats, and distribution strategies, using performance data to improve results.
Within your first year, Pearl has a recognizable brand that founders, operators, and exceptional global talent want to be associated with.
You've built a repeatable storytelling engine that consistently produces compelling content about our talent, clients, founders, and communities. Our stories are reaching new audiences, generating meaningful engagement, and changing how people perceive global talent.
Our events and communities have become an extension of our marketing strategy, creating content people want to share and attracting the founders, executives, and operators we want to build relationships with.
You've assembled a high-performing network of creative and marketing specialists who can consistently turn your ideas into exceptional work without the founders managing the details.
Most importantly, marketing is contributing to Pearl's growth. We can see how our brand, content, events, and communities are generating qualified relationships, creating new business opportunities, and helping us attract exceptional talent.
