Dimensional Inspector II - Second Shift at Blue Origin | LAYIQ

3-5 years of experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace components.
Laser Tracker, CMM, Portable Arm, Blue light programming and operation.
Superior blue print reading skills including GD&T per ASME Y14.5-2018 .
Fluent in the use of precision hand tools, gages, optical comparators, and surface plate work.
Experience inspecting tight tolerance, and high-value components.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed written instructions.
Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9000 Quality Management Systems and/or related quality systems and programs
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired: CAD system knowledge
Model Based Engineering experience per ASME Y14.41-2012.
Creo Experience a plus.
Advanced machining knowledge.
Design for Manufacturability and Producibility knowledge.
Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around flight-critical hardware.
Experience in Tooling design reviews to address tooling and component manufacturability on flight hardware ensuring compliance with ASME requirements.
Knowledge of Acceptance tooling per ASME Y14.43

Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing, vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
