Lunar MLI Assembly & Integration Technician at Blue Origin | LAYIQ

Industry certification, trade school training, and/or degree in related field.
Experience with methods for integrating designs from drawings and schematics to meet product specifications.
Demonstrate knowledge of materials and process specifications.
Automation Systems Troubleshooting: The ability to diagnose and resolve faults in an integrated system by interpreting HMI alarms and monitoring PLC-controlled components.
Industrial Robot Operation: Safely operating, tending, and performing fault recovery on SCARA robots using a teach pendant, including the ability to touch-up points.
Precision Dispense & Material Handling: Experience managing process-sensitive systems like metered epoxy dispensers and handling delicate, contamination-sensitive materials.
Machine Vision & Sensor Familiarity: The ability to work with and perform basic adjustments to vision systems for guidance and inspection, as well as troubleshoot various machine sensors.
Mechatronics Aptitude: A foundational understanding of how mechanical and electrical components work together, enabling basic hands-on maintenance and diagnostics.
Meticulous Quality & Procedural Discipline: A rigorous, detail-oriented approach to following complex work instructions and performing in-process quality checks.

Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing, vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
