The Opportunity
USAA is excited to continue to serve veterans and their families as we launch our new USAA Investment Services Company (ISCO) . The Investment Services Company will combine personalized advice with investment products and solutions designed to help members achieve their financial goals. The Investment Nurturing team is responsible for bringing together the what, where, why, and how of member interactions into one continuous conversation post account opening to grow member trust, increase engagement, and expand lifetime value by orchestrating personalized, compliant, and consistent post-account opening experience across channels. It is not transactional or administrative support (change of address) but rather uses triggers to build experiences that deepen the Member relationship with USAA Investment Advisory.
We are currently seeking a Director, Product Management, to support the Nurturing efforts within the USAA Investment Service Company (ISCO). This role will manage a team of individual contributors responsible for formulating product/sales strategy recommendations based on analysis of profitability, competitiveness and sales performance for the product life cycle. Compile, analyze and interpret data to make strategic and tactical recommendations or decisions pertaining to sales/product performance.
Responsible for defining the business questions and providing insights to improve business performance. Supports the maintenance of existing products and/or may lead in the development and launch of less complex, new products with channel partners managing and prioritizing deliverables in accordance with Agile principles.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position will be based on Plano TX. Or Charlotte, NC. Campus Relocation assistance NOT available for this position.
Job Description
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Behavioral Psychology or Statistics OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree (Total of 12 years of experience without bachelor’s degree)
8 years of relevant industry experience in Actuary, Underwriting, Marketing, Distribution or Sales/Service or Finance/Accounting Operations, Financial Services or Wealth Management.
4 years of product management, or similar strategic management experience (similar experience includes direct support in managing product performance).
3 years of direct team lead or management experience.
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (i.e. FINRA).
Experienced in market research to create product roadmap, make product decisions and iterate rapidly.
Expert knowledge of applicable product related regulations and, risk and compliance requirements.
US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner
Digital Member Experience Expertise Experience developing and optimizing digital customer or member experiences that improve engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
Growth Strategy & Journey Optimization Experience identifying and implementing strategies that drive digital adoption, deepen relationships, and increase share of wallet (SOW).
Data-Driven Decision-Making Ability to leverage customer, product, and performance data to identify opportunities, measure outcomes, and inform business recommendations.
Conversion & Lifecycle Management Experience improving digital conversion funnels, lead generation programs, and customer lifecycle strategies, including digital-to-human engagement models.
Cross-Functional Influence & Collaboration Proven ability to partner effectively across Product, Marketing, Digital, Analytics, Operations, and Advisory teams to deliver business outcomes.
Wealth Management Knowledge Understanding of digital investing, brokerage, managed accounts, and member retention strategies, with familiarity measuring success through AUM growth, satisfaction, and retention metrics.
Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $152,180 - $273,930

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
