Healthcare Client Services Coordinator at BAYADA Home Health Care | LAYIQ

What you’ll do

Manage a small caseload and support day-to-day coordination of services for assigned clients
Communicate with clients, families, field nurses, referral sources, and office partners to ensure needs are met with compassion, excellence, and reliability
Coordinate schedules and case coverage for assigned clients and field nurses
Help process payroll accurately and on time for assigned cases and field employees
Support field-nurse onboarding from offer acceptance through readiness to provide care
Process onboarding paperwork, background-check documentation, clearances, health records, licenses, certifications, and other required compliance items
Coordinate initial NHT and orientation activities for newly hired field nurses
Track onboarding progress, outstanding documents, required training, and employee readiness
Support compliance follow-up, credential tracking, file audits, and renewal requirements
Maintain accurate client, employee, scheduling, payroll, and service records
Partner with clinical leaders and office leadership to ensure nurses are prepared and compliant before providing care
Respond to client, family, referral-source, and field-nurse questions and escalate concerns appropriately
Proactively problem-solve service, scheduling, staffing, documentation, and payroll issues
Provide backup support to the Client Services Manager and office leadership
Welcome field nurses and visitors and help create a positive, responsive office experience
Collaborate with the office team on process improvements, reporting, and operational projects
Participate in training and development activities designed to prepare you for future leadership opportunities

What you bring

Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple client-service, onboarding, compliance, scheduling, and payroll priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn scheduling, documentation, payroll, email, and reporting systems
Ability to handle confidential client and employee information with discretion and professionalism
Comfort working in a fast-paced office environment with frequent changes and time-sensitive requirements
Commitment to accurate documentation, compliance, and a positive client and employee experience
Preferred
Experience with nurse onboarding, credentialing, compliance, orientation, or employee-file management
Experience with scheduling, staffing, payroll, referrals, or coordinating healthcare services
Experience supporting field nurses, clients, families, or clinical teams
Familiarity with electronic medical records, HRIS, payroll, scheduling, or compliance-tracking systems
Knowledge of the local community and service area
