Overview
We're hiring experienced CNC Machinists for an aerospace and defense manufacturer in Arab, Alabama.
This is a high-mix, low-volume precision machining environment producing complex components for aerospace and defense applications. The shop runs a broad mix of Mazak, Haas, 3-axis, 4-axis, 5-axis, lathe, and large-format CNC equipment.
This is not a machine operator position. You’ll be trusted to independently set up jobs, prove out programs, make machining adjustments, inspect your own work, and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
Most work is short-run, with many jobs ranging from one-off parts to approximately 5–10 pieces. Machinists regularly change setups, move between different jobs, and take ownership of the machining process from setup through completed production.
