This position will serve as the IT Lead who will be responsible for facilitating successful policy/procedure changes driven by compliance requirements, implementing Association IT initiatives, and remaining consistent with Extension Administration guidance surrounding Information Technology.
This person will work closely with the Executive Director to establish robust networks of workstations, linked via both internet and intranet, and provide remote maintenance, updates and support to those networks and components (both hardware and software). This person will also perform in person maintenance as requested/ needed for projects within CCE Suffolk and in collaborative projects involving CCE Suffolk and partner organizations as requested.
The IT Lead will exercise professional judgment, discretion, and confidentiality in leading the Association’s IT operations in all tasks. Serve as connection to CCE Administration IT Team for guidance on processes and updates.
The Information Technology Lead will assist with overseeing all core technology requirements and systems for the association. This includes maintaining servers, desktop and laptop computers, printers, network, hardware, and software systems and includes:
