Customer Support Assistant

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and courteously to inquiries from stakeholders, partners, and community members via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Assist in managing and updating the customer support database to ensure accurate record-keeping and follow-ups.
• Provide detailed information about the foundation's programs, grantmaking processes, and charitable initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues, escalate concerns, and facilitate smooth communication between departments.
• Prepare and distribute informational materials and updates to customers and partners as needed.
• Support the organization of events, webinars, and community outreach activities by handling logistics and participant communications.
• Gather feedback from stakeholders to help improve service delivery and program effectiveness.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
• Proven experience in customer support or a related role, preferably within a nonprofit or service-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and common office applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
• Problem-solving skills with an attentive and detail-oriented approach.
