Job Details:
Summary: This position is responsible for traveling to Live Production Farms to assist Breeder/Broiler Service Techs and Contract Pullet Crews with the weighing, blood-pulling and sampling, placement, and vaccination process of pullets and chicks in Breeder/Broiler houses while adhering to all Animal Welfare Guidelines and Tyson Foods’ policies and procedures.
Tasks: This is 1st shift position, but job will require working a flexible schedule including working afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
Must be willing to set up a pen weighing less than 50 lbs. and carefully move birds to be weighed into the pen following a predetermined schedule. Must be able to bend and pick up birds and position them on an electronic scale to weigh all birds. Must be able to use basic reading and writing skills to accurately record the weights and uniformity numbers of birds.
