Assistant Market Manager – Retail Direct Engagement Program

Charlotte, NC (In-Market Role | Up to 40-mile radius from Oklahoma City, OK)
Overview
We are looking for an energetic and hands-on Assistant Manager to play a pivotal role in a multi-week retail engagement program. This position assists the Market Manager by contributing to on-the-ground operations and supporting a team of Field Specialists to deliver effective program activity in a highly regulated industry (tobacco/nicotine). The ideal candidate excels in leadership, communication, and possesses a strong ability to motivate and guide teams in a dynamic convenience store environment.
The Assistant Manager will serve as a daily operational leader, ensuring Field Specialists are prepared, supported, and performing at their best. This includes conducting site visits, providing real-time coaching, and addressing challenges as they arise to maintain program standards and compliance. They will assist with training execution, performance monitoring, and quality assurance, ensuring every activation meets brand and regulatory expectations.
