LAYIQ - Operations & Conversion Manager | Mesa Complex at Legends Global

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Event Management, or a related field preferred.
3-5+ years of experience in venue operations, event services, event conversions, facility management, convention centers, arenas, amphitheaters, stadiums, or similar environments.
1-3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
Experience supporting large-scale events, conventions, concerts, festivals, and multi-day programming.
Experience operating events and facility equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, staging systems, and related tools preferred.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Skills & Ability
Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise, coach, and develop staff.
Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving capabilities.
Working knowledge of facility operations, event conversions, safety procedures, and OSHA regulations.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and facility management systems preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to lift, push, pull, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods as required.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts based on event needs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL
This role is based on site in Mesa, AZ
