Employer job description

About PSI
PSI is a fast-growing transportation engineering firm with 30+ years delivering award-winning infrastructure work across the DC region and beyond. We've grown from a boutique traffic engineering shop to a 50+ person firm spanning roadway design, transportation planning, software engineering, and construction management — and we're not done. Our team combines cutting-edge technology with a deep commitment to safety and innovation to solve the real operational and design challenges facing our communities' transportation systems.
Who You Are:
PSI is looking for a curious, motivated Transportation Engineer to join our team at our Navy Yard office. Working under the guidance of licensed Professional Engineers, you will help plan and design improvements to DC streets and public spaces. You will split your time between the office and the field, and you will see your work built in neighborhoods across the local area.
You will be directly involved in high-visibility DDOT projects that shape how people move through DC, with mentorship from experienced engineers and support on your path to PE licensure. While much of our work is in the District, you will also have the opportunity to support projects for local municipalities and state DOTs.
