Amazon is seeking a Principal, Public Policy to create and execute state and local public policy objectives in Massachusetts and several Northeastern states. Like our business interests, our policy issues are broad, forward thinking, and driven by what is best for our customers. The Principal will engage on state legislation, work with outside consultants, and partner with trade associations.
They will also support local government outreach and establish relationships with public officials in communities where Amazon operates. This role will attend policymaker conferences and build positive, lasting relationships. Understanding the big picture, connecting the dots, and creating engagement strategies will be essential to success in this role. This position reports to the Vice President, State and Local Public Policy, and is based in Boston, Massachusetts.
