Role Overview

Every certified vehicle runs on a foundation of requirements, and some parts of that foundation are simply harder than others - more ambiguous, more cross-cutting, more consequential if they're wrong. As a Senior Systems Engineer on our Certification team, you'll take on those problems directly, working alongside our existing systems engineers.

This is a hands-on technical role. You'll own, manage, and verify the requirements and safety analyses for the most difficult systems on Viceroy, our commercial Seaglider program, contribute ideas and effort to improving how the team works, and regularly review requirements, verification procedures, and safety artifacts that your teammates produce — offering an experienced second set of eyes. You'll manage all of it in our requirements management tool, where traceability has to hold up to regulatory scrutiny.
