What We Are Looking For
Well-developed communication and organizational skills.
Must be able to effectively communicate verbally with all levels of management.
Must be willing to work overtime with little or no notice during the week, weekends, holidays, etc as dictated by operations.
In order to perform the essential duties, regular work attendance is required.
Must be willing and able to work as a part of team, take direction from supervisor(s), prioritize work schedules, focus attention to details, and follow work rules.
What You Will Do
Safely and efficiently assist with the installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting and repair of all equipment to include conveyors, tanks, pumps, air compressors, etc.
Perform troubleshooting activities to evaluate (and conduct minor repairs) on dry bulk conveyor equipment, environmental control equipment such as baghouse/dust collectors, and heavy equipment such as track mobiles, front end loaders, company trucks and telehandlers.
Perform maintenance and service duties including completion of documentation and recordkeeping. Daily use of computers for communications, training, maintenance tracking and inventory purposes.
Compliance with all Company Safety Rules and Regulations while performing all duties, and attendance to all assigned training courses for operations and safety.
Coordinate with Operations as needed to minimize operational impacts.
Perform periodic visual inspections of conveyors and equipment.
Complete required reports and notes activity by handwritten entry into a daily log, or electronically.
Recognize the scope of work performed by third parties and the limits of what third parties may and may not do on Company property to protect Company assets.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
Must pass and complete Safety training/certification as required by customers to work in their facilities and as required by Kinder Morgan at all locations.
Must obtain and/or meet all requirements to enter foreign trade zones; such as background checks by both the U.S. Coast Guard and the Department of Homeland Security, i.e. obtain and maintain a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC).
The successful candidate must pass a written and hands-on assessment to be considered for the position.
The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check, after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed.
