What You’ll Do
Build, lead, and mentor a world-class team with expertise in the development of flight-critical software complying with DO178C.
Coordinate flight software development, verification, and certification of the aerospace powertrain, including motor control.
Participate in the definition and documentation of streamlined software development and verification processes supporting certifying safety critical software and complying with DO178C.
Collaborate with the certification and safety team to develop the Plan for Software Aspects of Certification (PSAC).
Guide the architecture and design of the software developed in-house to facilitate testing and analysis.
Take the software through Stages of Involvement (SOI) audits 1 to 4, and meet all DO178C objectives.
Oversee the qualification of the tools to DO330. Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI), continuously monitor and improve our processes to ensure compliance, and increase safety and efficiency.
Foster team collaboration, and promote and support personal development.
Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering, Computer Science.
Minimum Experience requirement: Software Engineer, Technical Lead, Software Engineering Manager or related job title in which 120 months of experience in C Programming, Aerospace Software Development (DO-178), Safety Critical Software, Software Development Life Cycle was gained.
